![]() They're a part of the faction that builds it. I think Klingons should have access to it as well, given this. So it's just as much the future flagship of the Klingons as it is the Federation, right? The Enterprise-J came from a future where a new Galactic Federation had formed, including the old Federation and the Klingon Empire as members. plane and simple, it ruins the game for me. i am simply saying i will leave any pvp, or open grouping if an nx or j enter. i sir am a star trek fan, when this comes, it does not mean i have to enjoy it. ![]() remember, they already wrote a story line for this game, and now they are modifying it.įurther more you look childish with your response, and there is no room for people who just flame and have no backbone behind their rants. and its not that i dont like the ship, i think its an interesting design and what not, but it does not belong in the game. Now that being siad, it is coming weather i or everyone else like it or not. i dont want time travel, it is a very crappy plot and will make this game lose credability in my eyes. i dont want something that is dumbed down, or what not. we already have had time travel in this game once, and further more, to do a ship from so many centuries in the future right, it would have to be massivly op. the j was in an alternate timeline that probably doesnt exist anymore thanks to archer. Ok first off, i am a trekkie, and i dont just think that tng is cannon. You have to accept that, or you lose all credibility for trying to claim yourself a Trekkie. If that were the case, then according to your own logic, "true" Trekkies would be the people that ONLY accept TNG, and ignore everything else with their fingers in their ears yelling "LALALALLAALALALALALA" every time you pointed out they were wrong.Įnt-J is just as much canon as Ent-D is. It's just a test to see if the systems work on a smaller scale so they can test it on a much larger scale.Įdit: Sorry, I clicked reply and it did the whole 30 second thing and it must've copied twice I think the best approach that STO can take it is that they are testing a smaller older version of the ship. Maybe even section 31 (whatever the heck it's called) had a hand in designing it.Īltogether the ship could've taken 130 years to design it, finish it, test it, and get a full crew of civilians and personal. If anything I think that the very early designs were being made by 2409 and tat maybe even a prototype. This ship is probably the most complicated and advanced ship designed in the entire galaxy so I'm assuming it might take more then just 50 years to design it. The Connie took 30 years in XI, the galaxy took nearly 50 years. ![]() They went through the long process of designing new warp cores, new energy EPS conduits, retty much everything is new and more advanced. THey did'nt just draw a picture of it and were fiinished. THey actually had to design every little thing inside the ship that ticks and everything that does'nt. Then let's not forget that some team needed to design it first. ![]() This is assuming that it's production was'nt interupted during war, or attacked, or energy failings that halted for a redesign. It could've taken 30-40 years altogether to finish building it(Deathstar took 35 years). Then they'll be training people to crew it (specialized for that ship), testing it, making sure it's actually safe to use. Now this ship is practically the size of a small city. THey could'nt butld it as fast as a Constitution, the economy coud'nt just support it in such a small amount of time.Īlso they had to construct the actual interiors, each little nook and cranny, every room, every air duct, every transporter, every little tiny bit would need to be perfect. Noe the most logical way they would be able to construct it is in portions and over time. The Enterprise J is a titanic ship larger then at least 9 galaxy class starships. ![]()
